London's long time house pioneers X-Press 2 and Denmark's most excellent underground act Djuma Soundsystem started on this track in early 2011, and with little time to spare from other projects it progressed slowly, but in the summer there was a breakthrough. They found that one perfect riff they all loved, and it became the base on which to build the rest of the track. A vocal was needed, and relative unknown David Mensah came up with the goods. Albeit with a few major label releases under his belt, he is new to the dance scene, but this track captured his imagination and he just went with it. T! he result was astounding, and the race to finish it began. Bouncing ideas back and forth, new vocals were added, some were replaced and everybody had their say. Peace Division's Justin Drake, was called upon to finalise the master and get the track sounding as powerful in the club as it was intended, and as always Justin delivers a rock solid master that will have your speakers working double over time just to cope.
