This is a rare cover song Johnny Cash sang on one of his Town Hall Party performances. It's was written by little known Bakersfield Sound musician Billy Mize. Waylon Jennings covered this song a few years later, and had more success with it than Cash did. This is vintage Cash and a great tune by Billy Mize.
